Letters about Pixie &
Tree Trunk Doors.
So where do the Pixies and Gnomes live?
Hello
Gary.
This is our inner city
(West Melbourne) house, the gnomes were a birthday present for my twin
daughters' second birthday.
Hope you enjoy these pics.
Best wishes
Paula (West
Melbourne, VIC)
 Dear
Gary
The
gnome home arrived safe and well this morning.
Thank you. It is beautiful. I made some gnomes over the holidays and they
are now seated in their new chairs and table. I am sure the children will
enjoy playing with the home. I wish you well for the year to come. Lisa, Kamaroi Rudolf Steiner School (Belrose, NSW)
Hi Gary, Here
are a couple of photos of our Pixie blossom tree.
Our daughter has named the Pixie, Pipa
Pixie.
She loves saying good morning to him every morning and singing
him songs.
Kind regards,
Lindsey, (Buninyong,
VIC)
Hi
Gary,
The door arrived safely yesterday and we've installed it already.
There was much excitement in our house last night when one of my girls
found the fairy
door - the fairies had moved in!
They were left a small bunch of welcoming flowers at their doorstop
and
a big tantrum was averted when it was realised that the fairies would
hear it!
It was also quite fitting that it was [departed] pop's birthday and
perhaps the fairies had visited him in heaven which had prompted the arrival of
the door.
My girls are still loving it and have chats to one of our neighbours about
it. The neighbour also got onto the topic of a book called "The
Borrowers". School friends have been around to see and so have cousins! The
fairies have been left some specially wrapped Christmas presents and even a
handmade swimming pool in case they don't have one in their fairy home.
Thank you very much, it's a wonderful addition to our home.
Regards, Tania, (Hawthorn East, VIC)
Gary,
The birthday boy LOVED his Flying Machine!
Thank you again. It was beautifully crafted and
will be a toy he can keep and pass on to his own children.
Kind regards, Rebecca.

Thank
you for my beautiful fairy door.
All the children who visit our home race to the fairy door
to listen to the
fairies singing and dancing.
The children wait there listening very
quietly
so they don't scare away the fairies - what magic!

Hi Gary,
I wish I had a photo of the amazed look on my daughters face.
Both the kids
rang my mum at work
immediately
to tell her. That night mum rang back to say they had left a door at her
place as well. They originally thought that the inside of the tree was the
fairy home, but when they found out that mum had a door they thought that it
was a magic door from our garden to her garden. My daughter has put small
mosaic tiles as a pathway up to the door for t he
fairies, a small dish of water as a swimming pool and other decorations for
them. Mum spent an hour on the phone with the kids, they were on the hands
and knees looking thru the door to see into mums garden and ringing the bell
for each other to see if the fairies would come out. I haven't had trouble
getting them out of bed as they run to check if the door has been left open
over night.
Many thanks for providing great pleasure, excitement and imagination from
such a small item.
Mum and I are loving watching the kids and getting involved in it all.

And a Special Christmas Commission.
The
client requested a New Zealand touch to the Treehouse, hence the Maori
"whare" at the top.
